Tutor: Peter Barker Medium: Oil Paint Master Copy Workshop All Materials provided 4 day course Time : 9.30am- 12.30pm Monday to Thursday (4th - 7th December) Next in our Master Copy workshop series is the Spanish Master Raimundo de Madrazo. We will paint his painting - Una Gitana or The Gypsy (shown above). Madrazo was A Spanish painter who painted in the realist style. He studied at the Ecole des-Beaux-arts in Paris as well at the Academia de San Fernando in Spain. His depiction of everyday realism. Loose brush strokes and vibrant rendering is what we will be paying attention to along with beautiful colour harmony. Little known in Australia his methods draw back to painters such as Velasquez and John Singer Sargent Image by Raimundo de Madrazo
