During this comprehensive 8 week course your Tutor will take you through the various processes and stages to paint the portrait from a live model. Indepth explanations and demonstrations will be given. Drawing analysis, Flesh colour mixing and creating the illusion of form will all be covered. Artists, ranging from beginners to advanced will have the opportunity to work from a live model.
Suggested some experience in painting and drawing would be beneficial.

 In this Master workshop we concentrate on the British Pre-Raphaelite artist John William Waterhouse. He is known for his depictions of women from both Greek mythology and Arthurian legend. Join us as we paint his "Gather Ye Rosebuds" and unlock some of his colour and technical mysteries
