Next in our Master Copy workshop series is the Spanish Master Raimundo de Madrazo. We will paint his painting - Una Gitana or The Gypsy (shown above). Madrazo was A Spanish painter who painted in the realist style. He studied at the Ecole des-Beaux-arts in Paris as well at the Academia de San Fernando in Spain. His depiction of everyday realism. Loose brush strokes and vibrant rendering is what we will be paying attention to along with beautiful colour harmony.
